Many many praises to the Taiwan tour guide.
He is very knowledgeable and has got very good foresight.
Good sense of humor and fantastic planning.
We always arrive at scenic areas either being the first or the last so as to avoid the crowd.
Judy and Darling Boo can never stop imitating his hokkien accent.
Damn funny.
And of cos we appreciate that he took the 4 of us out for night activities whenever we asked for it. Something that cannot be missed - KTV and Gaoliang.
Shopping in Taiwan is NOT cheap.
want cheap stuff, head for BKK or better still, stay right here in our very own Lion City.
Serious, period.
Nothing much to buy cos winter but i did come back with a couple of bags and shoes.
Taipei is boring. Other than Ximending, Shihlin Night market, Taipei 101 and many other memorial halls and museums, there's practically nothing else. Or maybe i should do more research on it.

Taipei, Tamshui Fisherman's Wharf- Lovers' Bridge

Those tiny figures are not tourist. They are protesters formed by mainly university students.
Don't ask me why, i have no idea.
国立中正纪念堂

Yeliu - famous rocks

Chiu Fen where i bumped into my darling Claudia yet again,
1st was at the airport.

Train to Hualien

Darling trying to crack open the bamboo by hitting it against the rock.
We had dinner at this really nice place where ppl turned their own house into a restaurant.
Not quite of a luxurious one but definitely a nice experience.
Organic home cooked food according to the guide.

An extra activity threw in by the guide.
To the beach for fireworks.
Not to watch but to light our own. Not tiny sparklers but real fireworks.
See that box that i'm holding? Once lighted, 12 shots, 12 designs.
400NT gone in less than a minute.

Taroko Gorge. Beautiful clear water

Suppose to be a rice field but becos of winter, now become flower plantation.
Not as nice as the ones in Germany or Japan but not bad still.

Fo Guang Shan

Followed by Alishan. A tiring day i swear. Climbing mountain after mountain.
And it was cold!

Peacock Garden. Best visit in summer.

Beautiful Sun Moon Lake.
Donated 2000NT to have our names engraved on the stone walls of the temple.

Some cultural theme park - boring.

Marty Shrine - change of guards ceremony

5-cent driftwood themed restaurant

Taipei 101

Darling has to get his mian sian b4 we head for the airport. haha
